For nearly 20 years, our church has faithfully pursued growth and improvement, working through significant additions, renovations, and remodels to better serve our congregation and the community. These milestones have been a testament to God's guidance and the generosity of His people.
A Look Back at Our Journey

2007: We built a 6,000-square-foot Life Center addition to the back of the existing church building. This included remodeling part of the facility to create a secure children's wing. Through these efforts, we have seen many lives transformed and souls won to the Kingdom through programs like the Heaven/Hell Outreach, Vacation Bible School, and Revivals. This addition has allowed us to expand our mission and serve our community in new and meaningful ways.

2014: We completed a full renovation of the Sanctuary and updates to the education and administrative offices.
These projects were funded through our members' and friends' faithful tithes and offerings, along with the generous contributions of those who once called Thornton home or continue to support us from afar.
Addressing a Long-Standing Need
For over 25 years, our parking lot has served us well but has deteriorated significantly. Originally asphalted in the late 1990s and early 2000s, it was not designed to handle the weight and activity it has seen over the years. Despite resealing efforts, the lot is now in critical need of a full renovation.
After thorough research and expert consultations, we’ve decided to move forward with a complete overhaul. This involves removing the existing surface and replacing it with durable concrete to ensure long-term functionality and safety.
The Challenge
The total cost of this project exceeds our current funds, so we’ve chosen to approach it in phases, completing sections as funding becomes available. Each section, approximately 3,000 square feet, costs between $18,000 and $20,000 at current concrete rates—which are continually rising. The entire parking lot encompasses roughly 19,500 square feet in total.
